Summary

A huge improvement over the prequel.

The Good

Revolutionary graphics (at the time) and the 3D engine. Oh, and the showcases. Sadly, though, the game makers got lazier and lazier with the showcases, until we got Hot Pursuit 2. A great game, but all they do there is tell you the already stated performance figures, much different from here, involving detailed speeches on these supercars, you know, like actual research has been done, and they care.

The Bad

I do not understand why the game had two lotuses and no lamborghinis. Also, the game is not fun anymore after you've won two races in tournament mode.

The Bottom Line

A gorgeous spectacle.
