If you were one of the diehard puzzle fanatics that were able to master the likes of "Devil Dice" (PSOne) and "Wetrix" (N64, Dreamcast) give "Pipe Dreams 3D" a shot. It's only ten bucks and is more widely-available than the superior "Crossroad Crisis", which is more charming but less-likely to be embraced by the spoiled American rugrats that ate "Pokemon Puzzle League" for breakfast.
Still, at one penny less than a tenner, Pipemania 3D isn’t bad value for money and its fairly appealing gameplay should at least entice the puzzle game fan on a budget. The fact that the game is inferior to the 12 year-old original is simply a depressing sign of the times.
