Gives Road Rash a Bad Name

The Good
Well, I didn't play this game too long...but it was long enough for to dislike it that much not to try again. Maybe I'll pick it up in the not so distant future...or not.

Well, I'm a big Road Rash fan, so when I saw this game, I said to myself, hey why not? Surely, it can't be much different from the original. But they say love is blind, and I should of saw that one coming by the clue: "3D". Yes, I'm a big 3D hater, and this is another game on my list that proves the pure idiocy of 3D graphics.

The Bad
Hey, cool, they have a Harley Davidson! A couple minutes later, everything's not so cool. Boy did they really change everything. The only concept that remained the same is a the biker on the road, other than that...this isn't road rash.

The controls were so dang annoying, I couldn't turn that dang Harley without crashing myself. Don't you just hate it when they turn more than they have to? Well, this is one of those games. A little too much joystick sensitivity there. The 3D graphics weren't amusing either. I vaguely remember those 3D rough edges for a pure excuse for a biker. But, I must say, honestly, this time it wasn't the 3D graphics that made me hate this game...although it didn't help my mood either. Well, that's a first...I didn't know that was possible.

After one to many crashes as if the entire road was covered with oil, I gave up and turned in my keys on Road Rash 3D. Permanently.

P.S. It's odd to think that before I rated this game there were 2 votes giving perfect 5's. Hmm...must be the retailers...dang capitalists...

The Bottom Line
The original is SO much better than this one.
