Roll's theme song, "Winds, Let Him Know", was first used in Rockman Battle & Chase, then spread out to Marvel Vs. Capcom and Rockman 6 for the PS1. It was again her theme in MvsC, and played during the ending of Rockman 6 (when the Wily Robots were showing off).
The U.S. was almost about to get Mega Man Battle & Chase. Capcom had an ad campaign going. The game was nearly fully translated, voice and all. Everything was ready to go...
And of course Sony had to step in and deny them approval to release the game. Capcom had no choice but to cancel the whole thing, despite the fact that the game was already being advertised in U.S. gaming magazines and had a firm release date set.
The Japanese version of Battle & Chase was loaded with voice acting galore, most of which was running commentary by two reporter robots in the game. Sadly, almost all of it was removed from the English version, either due to laziness or time constraints.
