Power-ups are there for the taking and much like Galaxian and R-Type, the patterns of alien invaders remain the same each time you replay, so after a while you remember the patterns. The simple fact is that Space Debris’ ten levels just don’t get your pulse racing like Salamander or R-Type did. Control is spot on and although some of the graphics dip from time to time in terms of solidity and detail, it feels (for a fleeting half hour) like the roller-coaster ride it pretends to be. Fun, fizzing, but ultimately forgettable.
