This is a game that no Star Wars fan should be without. If you are not a fan, you will not get nearly the enjoyment out of it. For us die-hard fans, this game will satisfy our fix. The weapons keep the game fresh a bit longer, and easy combos will entertain even the youngest fan (on the easy settings). Darth Vader was the coolest character in the game. I think the game would have been better if the characters fought against various bad guys instead of each other, but this was not really that big of a deal.

Add in unwieldy controls and a half-assed weapon system, and Masters of Teras Kasi ends up being faintly reminiscent of a good fighting game - except that it has been twisted and perverted by the foul energies of the Dark Side.

Star Wars: Masters of Teras Kasi held a lot of promise, but unfortunately, doesn't deliver. It has all the surroundings of a great fighting game, but the gameplay simply isn't there. If you want a good futuristic, weapon-based 3D fighter, Star Gladiator is still your best bet.

The Video Game Critic
In terms of graphics, the quality is uneven. The fighter selection scenes feature awesome rotating holographs, but in combat the fighters look far less impressive, with chunky bodies and faces that border on hilarious. Incidentally, LucasArts put a lot of effort into the lighting effects. Talk about misplaced priorities! They're hardly spectacular, and the background scenery is incredibly dull! Masters of Teras Kasi is what happens when a substandard concept is poorly executed. Did anything good come out of this game? Yes, a newfound appreciation for Tekken.
