Street Fighter EX 2 Plus

Street Fighter EX2 Plus still hasn't been announced here in the US, but the game will come here very soon. This is one game not to be missed by anybody, Street Fighter fan or not, you will be pleased to see the games gorgeous visual detail and great gameplay. With the Capcom and Arika name on the cover why should you even hesitate purchasing the game when it ships here in the US. Final Words: Get SF EX2 no matter what, the game just kicks ass.

Streetfighter Ex2 Plus is een stuk mooier dan zijn voorganger, maar zeker niet mooi genoeg om de 3D beat'em up troon te kunnen claimen. Capcom heeft het leuk geprobeerd en een titel neergezet die zeker zal aanslaan bij de grote schare Streetfighter fans.

Overall, EX2 is more of an upgrade to the original game than it is an entirely new experience. It looks very good and plays well, but it doesn't add enough new features to interest anyone that has become bored with the original. If you're still interested in EX and you're looking for something to tide you over until EX3 comes out for the PlayStation 2, EX2 just might do the trick, but don't expect the originality and freshness that the first game provided.

Och ärligt talat känns det som att Street Fighter-spelen har förlorat mycket av sin gamla magi. Kanske vore det mera rätt av Capcom att göra en ny och bländande 2D-version av sin klassiker. Nostalgikerna skulle i alla fall garanterat älska ett sådant spel. Street Fighter EX2 Plus är det bästa av de här halv-3D-versionerna men inget måste för den som inte är samlare av Street Fighter-spel och framför allt inte för den som redan har den förra upplagan.

Capcom réussit enfin à nous proposer un Street Fighter en 3D dont la jouabilité n'a pas grand-chose à envier aux titres 2D de la série. Si d'un côté, on aurait pu espérer une exploitation de la 3D autre que purement visuelle (comme par exemple des déplacements latéraux), la qualité de l'animation et de l'ergonomie pardonne cette absence d'originalité. Bref, Street Fighter EX 2 Plus n'est autre qu'un Street Fighter classique, jouable, assez beau, sans innovation, mais diablement efficace.

Le dernier Street Fighter sur PlayStation ne restera pas dans les annales en proposant juste un énième jeu de baston à la technique moyenne et au gameplay moins travaillé que les précédentes versions.
