T'ai Fu: Wrath of the Tiger

I liked T'ai Fu. I had a lot of fun learning and playing. The 3-D fighting/adventure gameplay together with the free roaming action makes this game exciting and fresh. I know I'm not going to stop playing for quite a while and I hope that this is not the last time we will see T'ai starring in his own game.

If you like comical fun fighting games but don't want to fuss with learning long complex key strokes to pull off great looking moves, then T'ai Fu maybe the Kung Fu for you. This is a fun, fast paced game worthy of a weekend rental. It is a little too easy and wouldn't warrant purchasing unless you've played it and really enjoy the game. With a memory card, you can save your progress and play through it.

T'ai Fu is een kruising tussen een matige adventure game en een redelijk vechtspel. Niet echt goed genoeg dus om mij gillend van enthousiasme naar de winkel te laten rennen maar gelukkig weten de charismatische tijger T'ai en de strakke graphics de eer van deze game te redden.

Dreamworks leder alltså inte plattformsgenren mot några nya dimensioner, men T'ai Fu är ändå ett trevligt spel för stunden. Om man törstar efter ytterligare ett plattformsspel, vill säga.

Admittedly, this game doesn't make a great first impression, but as T'ai Fu's fighting skills improve, so does the gameplay. It's worth running through once. It's a good rental for die-hard players and a decent purchase for newbies and young players.
