Overall, Triple Play 2000 is a fine game without any major flaws. Many of the complaints from last year's version (like the sluggish gameplay and camera angles) were addressed and fixed, which is really all you can ask for. EA Sports really has to be commended for releasing a baseball game that anyone can get into and play.

This game is a lot of fun to play and I can honestly say that if you enjoy baseball at all, you will most likely love the Playstation version of Triple Play 2000. There are really no major flaws in the gameplay and I liked the way they put this game together. I would recommend that you buy this game, especially if you have been interested enough to have read my review to this point. Play Ball!

Absolute Playstation
A pick-up-and-play baseball game with splendid sound and visuals. There are ample game options and tons of stats to twiddle with. I suppose opinion on the gameplay depends on how much you enjoy the real sport. On the positive side there isn't much hanging around because the player is thrust straight into the action, even turnovers are almost instant. On the negative side a short bunt usually ends with a run out at first base while an attempt at a home run will probably get caught out on the wall which kind of suppresses the instinct to really 'have a go'.

Overall, Triple Play 2000 is a welcome addition to the PlayStation baseball lineup that everyone, even those who weren't fans of previous Triple Play games, should check out.
