Overall, X Games Pro Boarder is the best snowboarding game out for the PlayStation. The game is fun and easy to play for beginners, and it has enough depth to it to keep hard-core boarders experimenting with trick combinations for a long time.

In gameplay terms X Games Pro Boarder doesn't really offer much that hasn't already been done, often more successfully. I quite enjoyed a few attempts at the trick levels Halfpipe, Stadium, Slopestyle and Mt Baker Gap but I found the downhill racing of Midnight Express so frustrating. The amount of times my skier got jammed solid in a section of scenery was ridiculous.

IGN
In the end, the makers of X Games Pro Boarders should be congratulated for bringing videogame snow boarding one step further into the real world. X Games delivers in the move department. Few games can boast the amount of sheer vertical air that this game offers in the half-pipe section, as well as its vast library of moves. But X Games is not without its problems; the choppy animation and inconsistent control will linger in mind far longer than need be.
