Description
This is the first Pro Evolution Soccer release from Konami Digital Entertainment on the J2ME platform.
The game features all classical modes you would expect from a soccer game, instant play, match mode, league mode, cup mode, a training, but the classical master league was substituted with a 2 season super challenge mode. The game let's you choose between two control systems : having each movement bound to a different action keys, or a single button mode where a press on 5 will trigger the appropriate action depending on the context.
Management options include changing players according to their strength and statistics, formation, and match settings include weather, difficulty and kit colors. The game ranges from really easy using the weakest AI settings to quite challenging. Unlockable items like new teams, formation or stadium appear after a given number of matches, winning cups or completing challenges with the hardest AI.
