TriviaThe game's full title is Prophecy: The Fall of Trinadon, though it is only used in-game (on the title screen, character sheet and in the credits text). Box and manual simply speak of Prophecy.
"Trinadon" is the name of the evil lord Krellane's castle. The "Prophecy", of course, refers to a young hero who will come and free the land of Krellane's rule.
Interestingly, the title screen gives a slightly longer name still: Prophecy I. A sequel never came to be though, and Prophecy is not open ended - even if the ending is not very satisfactory.
