Baldur's Gate: Dark Alliance

Heroic Trio. You choices in Dark Alliance are somewhat limited as classes and races are pre-assigned.

Thanks for the tip. After your introductory mugging, the town guards give you a warning. You don't have to really worry as time doesn't pass in Dark Alliance.

For you, anything. Quests are obtained through conversations featuring detailed versions of the game's characters.

Making waves. Water effects have been one of the biggest advances in gaming graphics in the past few years.

Cleaves orcs and illuminates the night! Magic armor and weapons abound in Dark Alliance. High level characters start to look like Vegas attractions.

Not the greatest of conversationalists. Most of the cut scenes are handled in the in-game engine.

Electrifying. Spells look very pretty...whether or not their effective (like chain lightning here) or not.

How would you like your kobold burger? The archer and dwarf can wade into battle without fear, but the sorceress has a few tricks up her sleeve as well...
