Trivia

Although a sequel to Dynasty Warriors, a Playstation fighting game, and many of the characters have similar maneuvers (even though the controls as different), the gameplay of Dynasty Warriors 2 more closely resembles the arcade game known as Warriors of Fate in English speaking countries.

Warriors of Fate was a 2-d side scroller where you ran through levels defeating hordes of enemies, either from foot or horseback. Although fictional names were used for the land and the characters, the five heroes closely resemble the Five Tiger Generals of Shu, including Zhao Yun, Guan Yu, Zhang Fei, and Huang Zhong...all playable in Dynasty Warriors 2.
