Summary

Fantavision: Gorgeous graphics, disappointing game

The Good

The graphics in "Fantavision" are gorgeous, the sound will take you back to Fourth-of-July celebrations above the bay, and some of the graphical motifs are positively bizarre. I kept on playing mainly so I could see what new twists would be next.

The Bad

The gameplay is painfully repetitive. All of the elements in the entire game, aside from the various backgrounds, make their appearance in the first stage. After that, things just get more and more difficult. Among puzzle games I have played, "Fantavision" is just plain mediocre.

The Bottom Line

If you're curious, it's a great pawnshop buy for $5. Otherwise, don't waste your time or money. There are a lot of games that are a lot better.
