When you walk into a sandstorm (or maybe THE sandstorm...?), the map goes blurry/static/whatever, indicating that it is in fact a digital map and not just a map.

Seeing how there's none of that type of digital technology present in the actual game, they sort of broke the barrier between us and it by doing this. No longer was that map, which to us was digital no matter what, just for US. It was a part the GAME, changing when an in-game event occured. And the result is it feeling out-of-place, which in turn minimized some of the feel/mood/vibe of the game for the time being.

That's my only complaint 50 hours in, though. :P
