Formula One 2003

The new Formula 1 season is already underway and fans all over the world are cheering on their favourite team. But a lot of fans, like me, love to take place behind the wheel themselves to compete on the same tracks, with the same cars and the same rules. However, for the next couple of years, these fans will be needing a Playstation 2 in order to play F1 games that are up to date, since Sony has bought the FIA license exclusively. And they immediately come up with a game based on this year's season, so fasten your seatbelt, here comes Formula One 2003.

The ideal video game for hardcore Formula One fans, or fans of driving games in general. With a solid season mode, and consistently stunning graphics, this game is only let down by it's replay value and horrific sound effects. This could have been so much more, but unfortunately didn't live up to what I expected from Sony.

Formula One 2003 pourra contenter les fans d'arcade et encore. Offrant peu de sensations et une réalisation assez limitée, son plus grand atout face à d'autre softs est sa licence mise à jour. A vous de voir si vous préférez un bon gameplay ou avoir le bon sponsor sur la voiture.

This game is really for the F1 fans, as for the non-fan, the novelty soon wears off and the desire to play something enjoyable soon takes over. It seems that F1 games have been around from the beginning of gaming, and never seem to be quite as fun as their street racing or rally rivals. My advice, is to stick to the rally driving.
