Island Xtreme Stunts

What a strange little game. The basic premise is similar to a kiddie Stuntman, in which you perform in various film shoots for a Lego version of Steven Spielberg. Unfortunately, these sequences are just simple racing minigames that require little skill or strategy. The weird part is that, between races, you explore an Animal Crossing-esque island, conversing with the inhabitants, performing various tasks and puzzles, and shooting pizzas at ornery robots (?!). It’s an interesting concept; too bad the real meat of the game (the racing) is as dry and tasteless as the roast beef at Old Country Buffet.
