From uk.playstation.com:
The year is 1560. Power hungry warlords battle for control of the land, and the world is filled with darkness and magic. When, in the midst of this turmoil, a princess is kidnapped, a lone Samurai swordsman courageously volunteers to rescue her.

This proves to be a far more perilous mission than was anticipated, and the swordsman Samanosuke finds himself up against literally hordes of evil zombie warriors. To rescue the princess from the clutches of the undead, Samanosuke must rely on all of his skills as a swordsman as he faces wave after wave of demonic enemies.

Capcom's atmospheric action game blends the best elements of Samurai fighting with horror elements, all played out against lush and detailed locations.
