One of the most dynamic episodes in the game, the sand worm battle is almost a rail shooter! Mount your horse and make it run quickly. Your smart companion will automatically turn and run around in circles through the sand valley, which is just what you need.
At some point, the colossus will emerge from the sand and start chasing you. Still on horseback, take your bow and start shooting at his huge eyes! It can get quite difficult, because both you (on the horseback) and the colossus are moving at a very high speed.
Once you've hit his eyes, the colossus will lose direction and run into the wall. He'll be temporarily stunned, so now it's the time to run to his back, jump on him, and stab his vital points. After a while he'll shake you off, and you'll have to repeat the "rail shooter" and the climbing/stabbing part a couple of more times. |
