DescriptionStar Wars: Episode III - Revenge of the Sith is an action game that follows the story of the Star Wars movie with the same name. The game basically lets the player play through the action sequences of the movie (such as the battles against the droid army), leaving many other events out. It features two controllable characters, the Jedi knight Obi-Wan Kenobi and his young apprentice Anakin Skywalker. Both mainly fight using their lightsabers, the unique weapon of the Jedi, but they can also use blasters and other weapons. There are several kinds of physical moves that the player can execute with the lightsaber. Gradually they will also learn to use various Force techniques, which work like magical spells in the game.

TriviaThe segment where the player fights Grievous' magna-guards in the command bridge of the ship while it has turned upside down was to be incorporated into the film, but it was scrapped and the concept was instead used for the game.
Likewise, another segment where the player fights through the fuel tanks of the ships was also intended to be part of the film, but was also scrapped and used for the game. This was alluded to in a deleted scene in the movie where Grievous corners Obi-Wan and Anakin and kills a fellow Jedi being held hostage; afterwards they use their sabers to cut a hole in the floor and drop down. That scene was to be the intro into the fuel tanks.
