Summary

A Star Wars Episode I-based kart racer.

The Good

It's simple and fun. The entire design is wonderfully silly. There's just something neat about watching big-head Yoda say "Beat you I will, yes!" to big-head Darth Maul.

The course design is very good as well. You will have to complete each course many times to find all the shortcuts and secrets.

The karts handle very well and are fun to drive.

The Bad

1. It's buggy. The game sometimes freezes mid-level (something I'm used to on PC, not PS2!).

2. It's shallow. Only 9 courses, easily beaten within several hours of purchasing the game. There are no hidden courses to unlock, only some additional characters. Worst of all, there is no difficulty setting.

The Bottom Line

Super Bombad Racing is a shallow but fun way to waste time, especially in multi-player mode. Recommended mainly for those who love kart racers or are Star Wars fanatics (with a sense of humor!).
