Super Trucks Racing is a solid title that definitely bears checking out. While the overall style of the game is similar to what has been done before, the uniqueness of the driving skills, spurred by the vehicles, adds an interesting element that racing fans might enjoy.

With great handling, nice visuals, and tough A.I., Super Trucks is easily worth the purchase at only $14.99. For trucking and stock car fans, this is a no brainer. For everyone else in the racing world, it's worth your time.

On the contrary, it's quite serious about being a simulation-style truck racing game, and in that capacity, it definitely succeeds. Plus, when you take into account its budget pricing, it just makes an already decent product that much better. All told, the game is definitely not for everyone, but if you're a fan of truck racing and have been dying for a solid representation of the sport, you shouldn't hesitate to pick up Super Trucks Racing.

With an already huge library of PS2 racing games, there's little reason for casual fans to look to Super Trucks Racing—it's definitely not a thrilling racer, and this lack of excitement is what ultimately hurts the game.
