Summary

Sad, really.

The Good

When whoever the heck it was that developed this game, they had the right idea: a super-pure, take no crap acrade racer. It's perfectly acceptable not to try to be the next GT3, which many games have just failed at ;-) just as long as what you're releasing to the bitter public isn't a shallow, foolish waste of time, which is pretty much what this game wound up to be.

The Bad

Something's just wrong here. The developer's musta had some serious nostalgia, so they created this game which harks back to the 90's in graphics, gameplay, and sound. Everything here reminded me of something I'd likely play as a 6 year old. The sloppy physics of the game require no real strategy, except God forbid you ever brake, or yer finished. (Paradox). Basically, ya touch the steering, and you immediately whoosh to that side, which is either a blessing or a curse, depending on the nature of the boring turns.

Graphics also remind me of an old PSX game. The textures are rough, the backgrounds are boring, and the cars scream 1998.

The sound, actually, reminds me of a Genesis or SNES game. You have 3 crappy tracks played on a loop, all of which is random, techno garbage.

One more note, you'll die before the game actually loads. I sat there watching it go by soooooooooo slllooooowllleee I think I musta aged 2 years or so, I can't tell.

The Bottom Line

Yawn. You could have more fun mixing laxatives in your soda.
