Description official description
The hero of the first three Syphon Filter games, Gabe Logan has recruited a new counter-terrorist organization called IPCA. Throughout majority of the game you control the recruits. However, you play as Gabe in one mission. Out of the 17 missions, you can play about half of them online. The missions are large and take place all over the world. The main focus of the game is on weapons. The game was basically developed with online in mind.

The Good
I've always been a fan of the Syphon Filter series since the first game came out and this one really outstands. You play as an agent under the orders of Gabe Logan to find out who's responsible for releasing a new strain. Throughout this game, there is a large variety of locations you'll be visiting such as Michigan, Tokyo, Yemen, Zurich, Montenegro, Belarus and the Ukraine. When you start a new game, you will create a character that you will use throughout the game, which you can modify later on with new clothes and weapons.
As your character progresses through the game he will earn a new rank, thus unlocking new weapons. The gameplay of is very much improved in contrast to its predecessors, objectives are easier and the missions are much more interesting than before. In some missions you have to use stealth and move body's in order to complete them but in others you can just shoot your way through them. The graphics are a huge step up from the previous games, the animation is smooth and the cutscenes look great. The music is very good and the huge arsenal of different weapons sound very realistic.
The Bad
The only thing that I did not like were the controls, it took me a long time to get used to them. Opening your inventory is not a problem but moving your character during a gunfight can lead into inaccuracy when trying to shoot an enemy. I had also wished that the character I created could have a voice.
The Bottom Line
Due to of the amount of customization you can make and able to visit different locations makes it an impressive debut. I would definitely recommend this game for people who like stealth games.
