Game Chronicles
I have to admit, I didn’t think this game was going to be that good. I mean I love poker but wasn’t really interested in World Series of Poker 2008: Battle For The Bracelet until it fell into my lap. I was very surprised by how well this game was put together. The designers really spent some time with the pros and in the poker rooms to really make this as lifelike as possible. I love being able to sit in my living room and have a chance to play with all my favorite pros and hear them talk trash and take the beatings and try to get under your skin. Whether you are a beginner just looking to learn or a season card shark wanting to brush up on your skills before you head to Vegas, this game is perfect and you can get lost in it very easily. I did.

World Series of Poker 2008 is a great poker game. The AI is aggressive without obviously cheating and the underlying gameplay mechanics are solid. It isn’t perfect for newbies, though the game does have some tutorials for newcomers. But if you’re looking for a challenging poker game that plays well in multiplayer, this is your game.

Almost as good as pocket aces, World Series of Poker 2008: Battle For the Bracelets further strengthens Activision's claim to the best poker franchise around. Computer AI is still as solid this year around, and the inclusion of Player of the Year points for the career mode and redone presentation, coupled with online rivals makes this game one of the best poker games out there. If you're looking to polish up your skills before you hit Vegas, or want an engaging card game, you'll want to check this one out.

"World Series of Poker 2008" ist nichts für zwischendurch.
