There was no choice in the matter. Worrying reports had been filtering in about unusual behaviour amongst some personnel at the base, and now with all contact having been lost with the top-secret installation, it was the only course of action the government could take. Sending in the X Squad was extreme but so were the potential consequences should the base fall into the wrong hands...
The year is 2037, you are a member of an elite anti-terrorist force and it's time to earn your pay - to go and do what you've trained for. To put the skills you've amassed and tirelessly practised to the test. You'll enter the complex commanding a 4-person squad. Depending on what the mission calls for, you'll have to choose them wisely as each candidate's abilities vary, but nevertheless the unique "Buddy" AI system ensures they respond intelligently to both your orders and their environment.
The beautifully rendered smoke, fog, mist and rain will help cover your movements as you stealthily make your way to the heart of the base, but in case you are discovered you'll have plenty of firepower to back you up. Rail guns, assault rifles, flame-throwers and rocket launchers will all help eliminate the threat. Now set to it!
