The Cursed Crusade

Main title.

Loading screens show the two main characters with random tips.

Main menu.

Prologue... the game features many in-game cut-scenes which can be skipped.

The Death itself is trying to get you while in a cursed mode.

There are many weapons and combinations, and you'll have plenty of points to upgrade any that you fancy.

You can also upgrade your character's skills.

Assault on the castle... they want it intact, hence you're not breaking down the walls with catapults.

Duck behind the shield during the volley.

Finally getting close enough to use a crossbow.

Breaking down the door in one of the many in-game quick-time sub-events.

Entering the castle, it's time for some close combat.

Taking care of the enemy reinforcements from a safe distance.

The game is split into chapters and missions which can be re-played after you unlock them.

Denz explaining his companion, Noviembre, the reason why he wants to enlist.

Winning a tournament will grant you audience with the king who just happens to be watching.

Clashing swords will require you to act quickly if you want to gain the upper hand.

After each mission, you will be awarded victory points based on what you did, which you can use for upgrading techniques.

Fighting demons and lost souls inside your own nightmare.

Use your shield to protect you from the arrows until you get close enough for sword fight.

You can pick any weapon in the game, and when you carry more of them, you can select which one to use... they don't last long, though.

Having weapon in both hands will diminish the power of the off-hand weapon, but you'll make some pretty quick attacking combos.

Some teamwork... they never seem to lift up the gate at the same time, where the logic in that?

When enemy soldier is weakened, one player can hold him while the other finishes him off.

Burning souls can only be killed with more fire.

Escorting ballista.

Finishing move will differ based on the weapon you're using and attack technique.

Using ballista to wreak havoc on the gate tower.

The story about the crusade is being narrated as a mural of events that have transpired.

Use your crossbow to take out enemy soldiers as they engage in fight with the allied troops.

Boss battle against Tatikios, the captain of the city guards.

Good teamwork.

When in cursed mode, you can examine certain walls and gates to find them breakable.

Advancing on the city walls with combos piling up.

A brutal use of nearby fire to burn the enemy.

You can move various carts that are blocking your advancement.

Two-hand swords are some of the deadliest weapons to wield.

Using bow and arrow is slightly trickier than crossbow because aiming is manual.

Boss battle against not one, but three huge demons.

You can use barrels to stun your enemy.
