AceGamez (2007)
It's been a long time since I've had as much fun playing a videogame as I've had playing Stuntman: Ignition. It's furiously fast, awesomely addictive and gives rise to some fantastic multiplayer grudges! Ignition could well become to driving games what Bullit's chase scene is to driving films.
Game Chronicles (Sep 22, 2007)
Ignition caters to the gamer who quests for perfection and values a stylish performance. In fact, you’ll start to find yourself flowing into a subconscious rhythm with this game as you learn the environments and master the art of blending in your own stunts with the required ones. It can be a very rewarding experience, and probably the closest any of us will get to becoming an actual stuntman.
THQ and Paradigm have taken an already white-knuckle ride and added the features that were conspicuously absent the first time around. However, this game earns its stripes by letting players have more of a hand in creating their own style of mayhem to spice up a scene, and trust me, you’ll take every opportunity you can get.

There's absolutely no getting away from the fact that Stuntman: Ignition is often an infuriating game, but that doesn't automatically make it a bad one. At times it feels as rigid as an old-fashioned school cane, but perseverance will reveal a highly rewarding experience. A stuntman's life is hard, but when you pull off that career defining stunt, the pain is a distant memory.

IC-Games (Sep 16, 2007)
If you come into the game with the right attitude and take it easy instead of hammering the game in one session, Stuntman: Ignition is a pretty cool game to play. It’s was always going to best enjoyed in small spurts as by its very definition, Stuntman can end up being pretty repetitive, pretty quickly. Either way, there are still quite a few 'punch the air' moments waiting for anyone who gives this unique title a chance.
What makes Stuntman great is the sum of all of its parts. While the career mode would have been great for a cheaper title all of the additional stuff such as odd-jobs, construction mode, and of course online play make this package worth checking out for fans of driving games looking for something unique in the genre. If you are still gun-shy because of the name on the box don’t be. Developer Paradigm has delivered a game that fixes everything that was wrong with the original and expands upon what made it great. While it won’t set the world on fire Stuntman Ignition is a solid addition to any game enthusiasts library.
GameSpot (Aug 28, 2007)
Stuntman: Ignition is a significant step up from its predecessor, and it's a pretty distinct experience as far as driving games go. The fundamental structure of playing through the same stunt sequence repeatedly will no doubt sour some, but if you can get past that, it can be a blast.
IGN (Aug 31, 2007)
Stuntman: Ignition is a relatively unique title that'll test your urge for perfection. If you don't like trying the same thing over and over again until you've absolutely nailed it, this isn't the game for you. But if that setup appeals to you then you'll find a fair bit to like here. It can be a game of trial-and-error at times, and it can certainly feel repetitive, though that's part of its inherent design.
PSX Extreme (Oct 30, 2007)
What it all boils down to is that Stuntman: Ignition isn't a bad game, because I've played many of those and this just isn't one of them. But I also can't say that Stuntman: Ignition is a good game. It's an average game, and I don't recommend a $60 purchase for it. Just like a popcorn flick isn't worth more than a rental, Stuntman: Ignition is ultimately the type of game you'd want to rent. While the multiplayer is fun and the Constructor mode is cool, the Career mode can be a bit short, and the game in general doesn't offer a whole lot to keep you coming back to. Additionally, it's visually generic, although I do applaud its aural presentation. Rent this one first.
