In the 7th episode of the anime
Mirai Nikki (
The Future Diary) two characters are briefly depicted playing a game that is obviously a reference to Super Street Fighter IV. They play as Ryu and Chun-Li look-alikes. The Chun-Li look-alike wears a red attire, instead of the usual blue Chinese dress. No character names are included, however the bottom gauges do read Ultra Combo and EX, specific for this version of
Street Fighter IV.
