Danball Senki

Danball Senki is a role-playing game that centres on an assortment of hobbies popular in Japan, set in the Akihabara of 2042, with a boy of thirteen who collects plastic miniature models of fighting mechas as the protagonist. The robots (named by the prefixal acronym «LBX» from «Little Battlers Experience»; thus names of theirs are, for instance, «LBX Achilles», «LBX Amazones» «LBX Warrior» and so forth) are moved by a small internal engine and able of being personalised, to the double purpose of well-suiting the owner's taste and be victorious in battle against other game characters' robots. Combat takes place in cardboard dioramas, which are nothing but miniaturized reproductions of locales, with an anime-inspired visual style. It is done in real-time where the player takes direct control of the mechas.
