Hi-Octane uses PlayStation's power to the full, delivering a racing/combat game that hurtles by at breakneck speed. Choose carefully which of 6 vehicles to use before tearing around the 7 twisting courses. Learning the different capabilities of each vehicle is an essential skill to acquire if courses are to be completed successfully. Hi-Octane differs from other racers, such as the masterly WipEout, in that the player must keep a close eye on both ammunition and fuel levels - take your eye away for a moment and you're scuppered.
With 2-player split-screen racing rather than Link Cable compatibility, 4 game modes and super-smooth courses running at frightening speeds, this is a blow-em away treat for the eyes.
