Summary

Metal Gear turned into a card battler?

The Good

Although being on a portable game console, the graphics are almost spot on with the Playstation 2 games. There are numerous cards that are from every series that Hideo Kojima has worked on, and it is nice seeing the old MSX graphics pop up on you're PSP screen when you use classic character cards. Another good thing about this game is the length. I tried collecting as many cards as I could from the decks, beat all the levels, and I finished it in about twenty two hours. The replay value on this game is also moderately high.

The Bad

This game is extremely slowly paced. Some levels could take you near a half hour to forty five minutes you're first time through. Another bad thing was the story, this is seriously not your usual Metal Gear story, lets hope that when Metal Gear Acid 2 rolls around that Hideo Kojima fixes the story.

The Bottom Line

Only buy this game if you are a die hard Metal Gear fan, otherwise, I would just rent it.
