The single biggest way to earn insane treasure in multiplayer is to finish the round with the black spot and the diamond. Doing this DOUBLES your treasure at the end of the round! In a 24 round deathmatch with 3 AIs it is totally possible to end up with 10,000,000 treasure and have all upgrades by the end of the game!
Beware not to finish with just the black spot as it will remove half of your treasure at the end of the round and usually leaves you with less upgrades than your opponents.
The black spot and the diamond are randomly found in treasure chests floating in the map; however only 1 in 20 chests have them and also only one of each can be in play at any time. If a ship with one or both of the power-ups sinks, the power-up will float to the surface afterwards. |
