DescriptionPuzzle Series Vol. 2: Illust Logic + Colorful Logic is a compilation of picture crosswords puzzles. A picture crossword consists of a grid divided into lines and columns of uniform squares: for each of those a series of numbers is given, telling how many of the squares have to be filled and how many sequences of filled squares have to be there: «2 5 1» will signify that a group of 2 filled squares, one of five, and a single one ought to be placed in the column or row, with unknown amounts of blank spaces beetween each group. A picture will eventually result from completing the puzzle (in the specific case of this game, some of them will portrait in sprite graphics popular Hudson game's characters).
Standard Mode sets grids of four sizes (5x5, 10x10, 15x15 and 20x20) before the player. Challenge mode introduces power-ups, a time in which as many riddles as possible have to be completed a time reward and penalty for — respectively — any rightfully and mistakenly filled space in order to salt the traditional quiet reflective experience of picross. In this mode grid size is limited to 15x15. Besides, there are a level creator and, as it is customary for the Puzzle Series franchise, a tutorial mode for the uninitiated to start grasping the essentials of picross.
