Description

In PV 2000 the player takes control of a traffic warden who has to give tickets to illegally parked cars. The game is viewed from a top down perspective where the player gets an overview of a network of streets (five vertically and five horizontally). Around every house there are at least four cars parked and the player has to give tickets to all of them to complete a level. This is done by simply walking up to them and pressing a button. What makes it harder are the cars that try to run over the poor traffic warden. There's one at the end of every street and as soon as the player crosses the street they drive at full speed across the screen. If hit the player loses one of his five traffic wardens. There are six different difficulty levels. The higher ones offer more cars and less time. More cars parked means there is less space to take cover from the speeding cars and at the last two levels the player has to be in constant movement.
