I battled to the end, but it was a wearied fight. There were no surprises, and too much “been there, done that.” Although the talent of Rogue is in the game, the heart and soul are not. These designers understand action, but are more at home with RPGs; if the creators of a game are not entranced with a design concept, no one else will be, either. I maintain that Rogue is one of the most talented teams in 3D games, and hope the group gets a chance to stretch other design muscles soon. This is their second mission pack, and it would be a shame for them not to consummate an original idea. For hard-core deathmatchers, the add-on is worth a look; for those who prefer the solo route, sit this one out.
