For all Saturn Quake codes, first pause the game and bring up the Options menu, then move the pointer to the correct menu item specified in the codes.
Tap the sequence of code buttons rapidly, or the code may be rejected. When a code is accepted, a confirmation message flashes at the center of the screen, behind the Options menu.

Note that "L" and "R" in the codes refer to the Left and Right shoulder/trigger buttons. (The D-pad is not used in the codes.)

Main cheat codes:

Toggle map overlay on/off (shows explored areas):
(Customize Controls) L R L R Z Y X X Y Z
A wireframe map of viewed/explored areas overlaps the main first-person display. White lines represent areas at the player's current elevation; blue lines show higher places, red lines are lower, color saturation reflects distance. Code automatically deactivates when player exits or dies.

Toggle player invincibility on/off:
(Customize Controls) R L X Y Z R L X Y Z
Code remains on until toggled off or the game system is reset. Not preserved in saved games.

Alter Analog controller setup/functions:
(Customize Controls) R R L R X Y Z X Y Z
Only effective with an Analog/3D controller, with it's Mode switch set to analog (to the right, at "o").

Acquire all weapons and maximum ammo for each:
(Customize Controls) R X L Z L R Y L R Y
This code does not provide keys, but it does light up the key indicators in the status bar.

Set/reset player's health up or down to 100%:

Acquire all Runes (when touching Rune on map E1L7):
(Customize Controls) R Z L X Y L R Y L R
Only effective on the "House Of Chthon" map, while the player is standing where the Earth Rune is/was floating.

Begin again on current map, with original status:
(Reset To Defaults) R L X Y Z R L X Y Z
Player will restart with the inventory possessed when the player first appeared on the map.

Warp to new map (from START map, or with 4 Runes):
(Reset To Defaults) R R L R X Y Z X Y Z
Only effective if the player possesses all 4 Runes, or if the player is standing on the right half of the high part of the bridge on the START/"Entrance" map (facing towards the "Normal" skill-level teleporter).

Set current skill level to "Easy":
(Music Volume) R L X Y Z R L X Y Z
Will not change the number of monsters on the current map.

Set current skill level to "Normal":
(Music Volume) R R L R X Y Z X Y Z
Will not change the number of monsters on the current map.

Set current skill level to "Hard"/"Nightmare":

Will not change the number of monsters on the current map.

Toggle player's immunity to gravity on/off:
(Lookspring) R R L R X Y Z X Y Z
To move vertically use the same controls used for swimming.

Toggle shell/rocket/cell ammo type to enemy/normal:
(Auto Targeting) R R L R X Y Z X Y Z
Only effective on maps where specific monsters are present. If the code is enabled/active, a player's shotgun can fire Scrag projectiles, the super shotgun can fire Death Knight projectiles, the rocket launcher can fire semi-homing Vore firepods and the Thunderbolt can fire Enforcer laser bolts.

Toggle use of 5-grenade rocket warheads on/off:
(Auto Targeting) R X L Z L R Y L R Y
Player's rockets can break into 5 grenades. May not work at close ranges, or when rockets fail to hit a target, or if player has fewer than 5 grenades/rockets in inventory, or when superseded by enemy-ammo code.
