This game is much more important than R.B.I. Baseball 2 because it’s the same game with more teams to choose from. It’s the top game on the system for baseball fans who want to use real players since R.B.I. Baseball only offers 10 teams. If you are just looking for a fun baseball game, though, this is just middle of the pack as it doesn’t provide the gameplay features of the top tier games.

All of those stats and the ability to use your favorite players are great options but they don't make the game great. This one falls short due to poor graphics and gameplay. I recommend it only to those of you who are die-hard fans, but I would recommend the outstanding Bases Loaded series by Jaleco before purchasing RBI Baseball III. With this cart, it's 1..2..3 strikes you're out.

Overall, R.B.I. is just forgettable, and by now most of my readers know that forgettable games make me more upset than bad games, per se. I can't give the reader any reason to play this game for more than one pick up game or two. The presentation is decent, but everything score-wise is black and white, literally and figuratively. There is no ten-run rule, so the realism is there, minus the whole controlling where the pitch goes. This game is just blasé. There's nothing to it, at all. I don't know what else to say. Enjoy this video of another great Detroit Tigers moment while I pop in something else for you to read about. Okay, you're excited, right? One more video. Let's start talking baseball, guys, it's almost opening day right? When I don't have to play games like this anymore?
