Description

A young man named Jeongcheon lives with his brother in a quiet village. On one fateful day, two mysterious figures approach the village and attack them. Jeongcheon is knocked unconscious, and his brother is taken away by the assailants. The hero must now sail to faraway lands in order to uncover an ancient conspiracy and foil the plans of an evil secret society to dominate the world.

Red Hawk is a Korean-made role-playing game in Japanese style. It is visually similar to Final Fantasy VII, having pre-rendered locations with fixed camera angles and 3D character models, world map, and battle graphics. The player-controlled party consists of up to three combatants. The turn-based battles are random; turns depend on the characters' speed ratings, which is displayed as a separate bar. Characters can execute a variety of special attacks and techniques; a special bar refills as the character is being damaged, eventually allowing him or her to unleash a powerful "limit break" attack. Characters can also train in specific areas in order to increase their parameters.
