DescriptionReset Generation is a turn-based strategy game. The game is based around a "capture the flag" concept, but instead of flags, players need to be capture the opponents princess and bring her back to their castle.
Players can choose their characters, each character being a parody of other franchises' characters, each with their own special ability. The Plumber's special ability is Ladies Man, through which he can get any item on the map. The Hedgehog can travel great distances with the special Hog Ride ability. The Level 50 Elf can lay combo tiles with her Combo Staff +1. The Babe Gunner can leap diagonally, shooting those beneath her. The Agressor, with his 4-bit Weapon attack can launch a four way laser shot. The Cyborg can use his rocket jump to jump great distances, destroying block and scorching those underneath him. Dr. Lovebomber can blast his foes and change blocks to his color with his bombs. The Monster Trainer can summon an Evil Dark Wizard to burn her enemies and to blast blocks. The Ninja can switch places with other characters. Lastly, The Sci-Fi Knight can use her Mind Trick to temporarily control other characters.
Each turn is split up into three stages: in the first stage, players get to drop tetris blocks unto the game's grid based floor. The blocks are dropped in the same time for every player, so if to blocks overlap, then they will cancel each other out. These blocks give the player additional movement and make their character stronger if they are standing on them. If five or more blocks are in a line, a combo is achieved making the blocks even more powerful and also invulnerable against normal cannon fire. In the second stage, the characters can be moved and their special powers can be used. In the third stage the castle can fire it's cannons to destroy simple blocks.
The game's original soundtrack is by the chip music band 8 Bit Weapon. Their use of classic gaming consoles and vintage 8 bit computers as musical instruments compliments the retro theme of the game as a whole.
