Resident Evil

What is your favorite RE? your trapped on an island with only 1 RE game,what would it be?pick any one you like! My favorite is Resident Evil 2 for PSX.

I think we had a poll on this, didn't we? Regardless, I choose the Resident Evil remake on the Gamecube. That game scared the crap out of me in high school. I seem to remember it giving me nightmares. This just barely beats out Resident Evil 2, though. I'd probably choose the extremely well done N64 port.

I was never really a fan of the series, though. I felt Resident Evil 4 was too much of a departure from the standard formula. The shift from atmosphere to action just didn't do it for me. Resident Evil 5 was atrocious, even with coop.
