Description
Live players here act out the roles of either diners or servers in a restaurant, the data gathered on their exchanges going toward instructing a more human social AI in future single-player games.
A restaurant being what it is, the opportunities for interaction are relatively slim -- drinks can be mixed and quaffed, food can be ordered, served and consumed, furniture can be shuffled and adjusted, and the denizens of the establishment can verbally interact. Bills are tallied and tips are contributed!
It's true that its faithful approach to a mundane, everyday activity is a far cry from the escapism of most games, but at its essence this simulator is the very soul of a "role-playing" game -- practically interactive drama, with the right actors possibly of the calibre of a
