Rival Schools sees 14 brand new fighting heroes take to the school playground, slugging it out to defend the honour of their own school.
Rival Schools combines an astounding mix of fluid 3D fighting with plenty of moves and attacks to satisfy even the most demanding gamers. The fights take place within incredibly detailed, scrolling levels, and each of the 14 characters features a distinct fighting style. Unique to Rival Schools is the ability to choose two characters as a 'Justice Fighting' team, and combine their attacks and skills to pull off tag-team style moves. You can ambush other players, 2 against 1 allowing for all-out thrashings.
An all-new super-combo move, exclusive to Rival Schools, makes for a visually stunning and unbelievably powerful move, where the screen momentarily blacks out revealing the 'Burning Vigour Attack.' And an explosive flurry of moves inflicts a huge amount of damage on the opponent.
Rival Schools is a high-quality conversion from the arcade version with major enhancements to the sound with an even greater variety of speech samples, and all-new linking and end sequences. It also includes Versus and Training modes to complement the main game.
