Roald Dahl's Twit or Miss

Roald Dahl's Twit or Miss is a game based on the 1980 children's book The Twits written by Roald Dahl. The game takes place in a single screen environment and shows Mr and Mrs Twit seated at a table. He is eating messily while she is sleeping. The goal of the game is to survive as long as possible by preventing Mrs Twit from waking up as she is assaulted by Mr Twit's eating. As he eats, all kinds of food fly towards her and with each hit she becomes more awake and angrier.

The player intervenes by swiping the food in flight before it reaches her. The game adds various small missions that can be completed in addition. Food can be flung back to hit Mr Twit on the head, in his beard or in his eyes. Tricks shots are possible by bouncing the food around, as the speed of the swipe determines the strength. Bombs make all the nearby food explode mid-air, it is possible to aim some food in a cup, there are worms to splat and pie to pop, fish heads can be used as a spear etc. Every level introduces some new elements and speed up the food's flight and the amount. The ceiling can also be used to bounce food, but after a while a monkey appears to glue a part of it, preventing bouncing. If a round is completed without any hits, a score multiplier is applied. At the end of a session a total score is calculated.
