Description
Robot Pinball Escape is a platformer by students of the University of Utah. At the start the player selects one of the two robot protagonist to explore a pinball table where different parts have to be collected to unlock a spaceship. The robot only has limited energy and has to watch out for the flippers, bumpers and pinballs. The character can move around freely, punch targets and jump. At any time it is possible to transform (called "tilt") into a pinball and take part in the pinball game. This is required to activate certain targets or to move through lanes. In pinball form a boost is available and it is the only way to recover energy. As different options are unlocked by completing traditional pinball tasks, higher regions can be explored. These often require the player to shift between the forms. Next to the main challenge there is an additional skillshot trophy that can be discovered.
