DescriptionIce Station Santa is the first episode of the second season of Sam & Max games. The controls and interface are identical to the point-and-click puzzle-solving gameplay from the first season. This episode includes a mix of recurring characters such as Bosco, Sybil, the C.O.P.S., Soda Poppers and Jimmy, along with new ones such as Stinky, the diner proprietor. Most of the locations are brand new, and the old ones have been revamped with new events and a different look.
Freelance Police officers Sam & Max need to stop a demon-possessed Santa from delivering Torture Me Elmer and Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse toys to children all over the world. New to this season are a new credits opening in sitcom style, the tutorial (reusing a puzzle from the first season) to introduce new players to the game and a hints option with 5 frequency settings for Max to give hints. The puzzle are both environment and inventory-based, and require more thinking and attention to detail than the previous episodes.
