Description
Samorost is a click-and-point adventure game. The player indirectly controls a little gnome who travels to an incoming world about to collide with his home world.
The player moves screen by screen, trying to find a solution to vague puzzles. Interaction is triggered by clicking hot spots. The game has an isolated atmosphere, with eerie music. It is never very clear what needs to be done, but often the player needs to cause a combination of events to keep traveling. Gameplay mixes technological ideas with purely organic structures, in very surreal environments.
Originally released as browser-based flash game,
Telltale Games offered the game through their electronic store at the end of October 2006, with a Windows installer that does not require a browser or a flash player installed.
