Scrabble is one of the launch games of the downloadable XBLA version of Hasbro Family Game Night and it is exclusive to North America. It can only be played through Hasbro Family Game Night, which is offered as a free application. It is also included in the US retail version of the game. Hosted by Hasbro's Mr. Potato Head, the game can be selected from a game room. The room can be browsed and holds trophies collected while playing. Each game comes with included hints. There are also different background themes to choose from.

Scrabble is a conversion of the classic board game where each players receives a set of letters to form words that are put down on a board. The players take turns forming a word and then receive new letters. There are also tiles on the board that multiply the score and it is allowed to extend words put down by other players. This electronic version supports four players, locally and online, but locally everyone can see each other's letters. There is no AI opponent included, so in singleplayer you put down words all by yourself.
