Mean Machines
This has got to rate alongside Gauntlet as the most outstanding Master System conversion yet. Full-screen graphics and an addictive quality result in a game which grabs you from the outset and only lets go when you've played the thing to death! Okay, the somewhat repetitive nature of the game could lead to some players relegating this to the back of the cupboard before long, but fans of the coin-op and nostalgia freaks will absolutely love it.

Power Play
Der Master System-Einstand von Tecmagik ist geglückt. Zwar murrt das Scrolling etwas, doch die spielerisch gelungene Umsetzung tröstet vorbildlich darüber hinweg. Die Programmierer haben der Master-System-Version sogar eine geheime Bonusrunde spendiert, die selbst im Arcade-Original nicht vorhanden war. Ob jemandem das Spiel gefällt, hängt im wesentlichen davon ab, ob er Pac-Man mag oder nicht. Gegenüber dem Urahn ist Pac-Mania allerdings deutlich abwechslungsreicher. Der 3-D-Effekt sorgt zusätzlich für ein relativ modernes Outfit, das durch die nette Grafik unterstützt wird.
